After years of teasing, Pusha T and No Malice have made it official: There might be a brand new Clipse album. Let God Kind Em Out, the Thornton brothers’ long-awaited follow-up to December 2009’s Til the Casket Drops, is out July 11 through Roc Nation Distribution. Longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams produced the brand new album, and Kaws did the art work. The brand new album’s lead single, “Ace Trumpets,” is out on Friday, Could 30.
Throughout their 2000s heyday, Clipse launched three studio albums—Lord Willin’ (2002), Hell Hath No Fury (2006), and Til the Casket Drops—and three volumes of their iconic We Obtained It 4 Low cost mixtape sequence. After Clipse went on hiatus, Pusha T launched quite a few standout initiatives, starting with 2011’s Worry of God mixtape and increasing to the 2022 studio album It’s Nearly Dry. No Malice, in the meantime, shared simply two albums, Hear Ye Him (2013) and Let the Lifeless Bury the Lifeless (2017).
Clipse reunited, in 2019, on Kanye West’s Jesus Is King tune “Use This Gospel.” The Thorntons have since carried out collectively frequently, taking part in units at Primavera Sound Barcelona, Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, and elsewhere.
