Seiko has unveiled the Presage Traditional Unglazed Arita Porcelain Restricted Version, a refined timepiece that seamlessly blends Japanese porcelain artistry with Seiko’s precision watchmaking. Restricted to only 1,200 items worldwide, the watch pays tribute to Arita porcelain, first found within the seventeenth century within the Japanese city of Arita. Over 400 years, the area has gained renown for its distinctive craftsmanship, influencing generations of artisans.

Measuring barely over 40mm, the case is meticulously crafted from stainless-steel and completed with a super-hard coating for enhanced sturdiness. Its heat white dial is a focus, crafted from unglazed, high-temperature-fired porcelain, proudly boasting the genuine hue attribute of Japan’s Arita porcelain. The dial additionally incorporates a refined and textured matte end that accentuates its three-dimensional, diamond-cut design ridges. These ridges elegantly and subtly mirror gentle, including a contact of understated intrigue to the watch face.
