CIGA Design has unveiled the Blue Planet II Black Star Version, a putting collaboration with Swiss atelier Label Noir that reimagines its Blue Planet sequence by way of a cosmic lens.
Departing from Earth-inspired motifs, the Black Star Version ventures into deep house with a dial designed to evoke a black gap. At its heart lies an 8.5mm concave pit coated in Tremendous Black pigment, absorbing 99.6% of sunshine to create a void-like visible impact. Surrounding this are spiral galaxy patterns rendered in CMYK gradient printing, with a luminous polar-star hand orbiting above to point time.
