BMW M has revealed the 2026 M2 CS, a limited-edition high-performance coupe that raises the bar with extra energy, sharper dynamics and light-weight engineering. Making its debut on the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the M2 CS boasts a 523 hp 3L inline-six engine — up 50 hp from the usual M2 — and shaves almost 100 kilos by way of using carbon fiber elements and cast wheels.
Able to sprinting from 0–60 mph in 3.7 seconds and hitting a prime velocity of 188 mph, the M2 CS channels its energy by way of an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and rear-wheel drive. A stiffer engine mount, revised chassis tuning and adaptive M suspension guarantee sharper dealing with, whereas M Compound brakes come commonplace with optionally available carbon-ceramic upgrades.
