London-based Nigerian artist Slawn is gearing as much as launch his first ever sneaker collaboration, teaming up with Nike on the Air Max 90 for the silhouette’s thirty fifth anniversary.
Slawn has been a fixture within the streetwear scene for years, showing in numerous Supreme lookbooks and dropping tasks with the likes of FTP and Ksubi. That has all led so far, an official sneaker collab with Nike. The Slawn Air Max 90 is available in two colorways, every geared up with full-leather uppers with Slawn’s paintings embossed on the rear and facet panels. The sneakers additionally include metallic lacestays and Slawn character faces on the heel tabs.
The 2 colorways nod to Slawn’s most popular artwork medium: portray. One is available in all black with white paint speckles within the forefoot, in addition to painted on swooshes on the facet panels.
