Primark’s plan to upsize from 26,200 sq ft to 55,700 sq ft comes as manufacturers proceed to give attention to “higher and larger shops on the highest-footfall locations throughout the UK”, retail landlord Landsec stated.
It it the most recent in a sequence of flagship investments at White Rose procuring centre after JD Sports activities tripled its area final 12 months with a brand new 15,537 sq ft retailer.
Works on the Primark growth will begin immediately (7 April), with completion anticipated in 2027.
