
Decathlon’s board of administrators has changed Barbara Martin Coppola, CEO since March 2022, with López.
López has held a wide range of positions throughout his 26 years on the retailer, together with warehouse supervisor in Barcelona between 2001 and 2003, to serving as CEO of Decathlon Spain from 2015 to 2022.
His newest function, which he held since 2022, was international chief worth chain officer.
In July 2024, Decathlon is launched its personal subsidiary to spend money on forward-thinking companies and types. The impartial entity, named Decathlon Pulse, will construct and scale concepts to create standalone new companies, spend money on future-facing individuals and ideas, and purchase progressive sports activities manufacturers.
