David Zwirner’s Paris gallery is presenting Distant Star, a brand new solo exhibition by Pakistani American artist Huma Bhabha. Identified for her eerie, hybrid varieties, Bhabha debuts six sculptures and a bunch of large-scale drawings that discover themes of time, decay and transformation.

On the entrance of the gallery stands the centerpiece sculpture, “Distant Star” (2025). Solid in iron, the rust-toned determine resembles a watchful guardian. Its floor will proceed to oxidize over time, reinforcing Bhabha’s thought of time as a sculptural power.
