The Moomins are making their U.S. debut in a brand new exhibition in New York. Staged on the Brooklyn Public Library‘s Central department from June 28 by September 30, Tove Jansson and the Moomins: The Door is All the time Open brings the enchanting world of Moominvalley stateside, simply in time for the characters’ eightieth anniversary.
Created by artist and writer Tove Jansson, the Moomins have develop into cultural icons in Finland and past. The upcoming exhibition affords an intimte look into her Jansson’s whimsical universe, by a Moomin home set up, archival supplies and a variety of books and animations.
