Prime European officers rushed to Washington as the USA and Russia transfer nearer to a possible ceasefire in Ukraine.
Germany’s nationwide safety adviser, Jens Plötner, traveled to Washington on Friday for pressing talks alongside his British counterpart, Jonathan Powell, and French President Emmanuel Macron’s diplomatic adviser, Emmanuel Bonne. The three met with U.S. Nationwide Safety Adviser Mike Waltz on the White Home.
The swiftly organized journey comes amid intensifying negotiations to finish the struggle in Ukraine. Earlier this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. officers agreed on the framework for a 30-day ceasefire after talks in Saudi Arabia, successfully placing the ball in Moscow’s courtroom.
