The Weeknd Ends Grammys Boycott in Surprise Performance


The Weeknd acting on the Grammys stage was certainly not on any of our 2025 bingo playing cards. After talking out towards the Recording Academy in 2021 when his After Hours album obtained zero nominations, The Weeknd started his boycott of the Grammys, bowing out of any awards submissions. Nevertheless, on the heels of his Hurry Up Tomorrow launch, the musician took to the stage as a shock visitor to finish his boycott of the present throughout final evening’s 67th Grammy Awards.

He carried out a charming medley of Hurry Up Tomorrow fan-favorites “Cry For Me” and “Timeless,” bringing out collaborator and tourmate Playboi Carti for the latter of the 2.
