
The sportswear big will shut its Soho retailer, at present at 52-55 Carnaby Avenue, and transfer to a bigger location at 376-384 Oxford Avenue, property sources informed Drapers.
Puma’s flagship retailer opened on Carnaby Avenue in August 2023. The German sportswear label operates 13 shops throughout the UK, and is stocked in retailers together with Subsequent and Frasers Group-owned Sports activities Direct.
Hole, which is operated by Subsequent within the UK and Eire, previously operated two shops on Oxford Avenue, the smaller of which is now Mango. It retains a shop-in-shop in Subsequent at 120 Oxford Avenue.
Puma’s gross sales dipped 2.1% to €4.2bn (£3.61bn) within the first half of 2024, inflicting it to slender its outlook.
“On this difficult setting, Puma continued to make progress on its strategic initiatives of brand name elevation, product excellence and distribution high quality with particular concentrate on the US and China, and centered on robust sell-through and the very best service to its retail companions, model ambassadors and customers,” the model stated within the report.
