
Nicolaides introduced the information of his appointment by way of a social media put up yesterday (30 September), following his departure from John Lewis in August.
Nicolaides stated on LinkedIn: “I’m becoming a member of Matalan as director of digital! An excellent British retail model with big heritage and ambition and I’m wanting ahead to driving the following chapter of progress throughout digital and commerce.”
Nicolaides added that he’s wanting ahead to “reconnecting” with Matalan‘s new chief product, model and industrial officer Sarah Welsh, who joined the enterprise in March, having each beforehand labored at N Brown collectively.
Previous to his time at John Lewis, Nicolaides was normal supervisor of N Brown-owned Merely Be.
