Inside a cartoonish, purple-curtained dice in Paris, Pimples Studios’ Fall/Winter 2025 present examined the connection between cities and nature. The runway itself was populated by futuristic skyscraper sculptures and contrasting woven artwork items by Swedish design duo Entrance, who have been galvanized by their native nation’s landscapes. The gathering that circled such juxtaposing designs was the product of an equally contradictory moldboard: “Nature and concrete cities have at all times had a relationship that fascinates me. It’s the rigidity and distinction between the 2 of them that I’ve tried to painting inside this assortment,” defined designer Jonny Johansson. ”A Nordic upbringing develops a deep connection to nature.”
The road was full of suiting subversions, with outerwear and tailor-made formals donning gentle, rounded, and dropped shoulders in a bid for casualness. Flowing clothes, too, appeared extra relaxed, whereas colourful knit vests had enjoyable with enlarged bow ties streaming down the torso.
Johansson was notably impressed by the ’70s, twisting the period’s glam rock and disco types for the fashionable day: see the gathering’s tight tops, free bottoms and heart-shaped belts for proof. The colour story equally nodded to the “Me Decade,” serving up hues of Bordeaux pink, purple, and gold, alongside hotter tones of brown, oat, honey and beige.
Sneakers, in the meantime, have been purposefully proactive, with peep-toe and curling leather-based heels pumping in step alongside “damaged” penny loafers-turned-boots — all to the controlling beat of “Human Conduct” by Björk.
