Prepared To Dangle (RTH), the New York-based design studio recognized for its sculptural mirrors, brings its signature aesthetic to Milan Design Week 2025 with two standout installations, marking its first-ever presence within the metropolis.

The primary is a playful pop-up at Parrucchiere, a conventional hair salon within the coronary heart of the Porta Venezia district. In collaboration with Convey, the set up locations RTH’s modern mirrors inside the salon’s nostalgic setting, making a dialogue between classic attraction and fashionable design. Highlights embrace the “Gotchi” Mirror in chrome, a half-sphere 3D mirror with an indented sq. heart and the “Squeeze” Mirror in Milano, which seems to be pinched within the center by shiny inexperienced orbs. These modern touches convey a vibrant, surprising twist to the retro area. On April 10, the pop-up can even host a Free Haircut Day, providing complimentary cuts as a part of the immersive design expertise.

RTH’s second set up, Between Seeing, is on view at Alcova and presents a extra introspective exploration of kind and notion. Introduced in partnership with Le Labo and Claire Marie Astruc, the site-specific set up leads guests by a surreal panorama of suspended material, glass and mirrors. The work delves into themes of presence, phantasm and the act of seeing itself. The gathering options current RTH mirror fashions – “Large Squeeze,” “Clasp,” “Bezel” and Puffer – reimagined in new colorways, alongside standout items just like the Jelly Mirror, a spherical design framed by a translucent, jelly-like rim.

Each installations will probably be open to the general public all through Milan Design Week, from April 15 to 21.
