Acclaimed artist Cleon Peterson has partnered with Modernica for a brand new collaboration, The Divide Assortment, created in response to the devastating lack of his house within the Eaton Hearth in Altadena, California this previous January. The gathering, designed to help Peterson and his household, transforms destruction into an inventive assertion.
This limited-edition sequence options 9 Upholstered Facet Shells on Eiffel Tower Bases and an Upholstered Arm Shell Rocker, every hand-signed by Peterson. Staying true to his signature fashion, the designs use stark black-and-white contrasts to represent the stress between despair and resilience.
“The stark distinction of black and white in these designs represents the house between despair and resilience, between destruction and creation,” Peterson shared. “Even in destruction, there may be the opportunity of transformation.”
All income from The Divide Assortment will immediately help Peterson and his household as they rebuild. The gathering launches on March 20 completely on Modernica’s official web site.
