Juxtaposed with Kwabena’s intimate portraits are private photographs from Saunders’ mom Yvonne’s travels to Jamaica — some printed on crumpled cardstock, others bearing the thick white borders of immediate images. The introduction written by Jordan Anderson is adopted by an interview with Yvonne Saunders, offered in light typeface by the rest of the zine.
